Do this on any browser, days ahead, so install day goes smoothly
If your computer is in 'S mode' (Settings > System > Activation), Windows only runs apps from the Microsoft Store and cannot run this installer. Switching out of S mode is free but cannot be undone.
A few things to check in advance. They take a few minutes plus one email once the program is installed.
Memory Recall works out who said what using four free AI models, and those models come with Memory Recall. You do not need a Hugging Face account or token, and the installer never asks for one. A token is an optional setting in the app; the links to make one (a free account, the four model licenses, the token page) are next to its box in Settings → Privacy & data.
The amount of free disk the installer requires is a function of this computer’s memory, not one number for everyone:
The installer checks and will stop you if there is not enough. Free the space before install day if you can.
Memory Recall works fully for 30 days without a license key, so nothing here holds up your install. A key cannot be issued before you install. After the app opens, Settings shows a machine code taken from this computer. Email that code to support@memoryrecall.ai, and we send a key that only works on this computer.
It is two-way and cannot be pre-issued: you send the code first, we send the key second. Copying a key from another computer will not work.
